Mental Health Benefits

The PPO Plans cover the following types of mental health treatments:

• Office visits, such as visits to psychologists, psychiatrists and other mental health therapists. Certification is not required for office visits.

• Inpatient care and outpatient treatment when provided in a mental health or substance abuse treatment facility. Inpatient and outpatient care requires certification in advance.

• Medications prescribed by your doctor.
