The State Health Plan is offering informational webinars prior to and during Open Enrollment for members to learn more about their 2025 health plan options. Open Enrollment will be held Sept. 30th to Oct. 25th, 2024.
Medicare Primary members currently enrolled in the Humana Medicare Advantage Base Plan (90/10)* or Enhanced Plan (90/10)* will remain enrolled in their current Humana plan.
Medicare Primary members currently enrolled in the Base PPO Plan (70/30) will be moved to the Humana Medicare Advantage Base Plan (90/10)*unless they take action during Open Enrollment. Aetna will become the State Health Plan’s new Third-Party Administrator (TPA) on Jan. 1, 2025, for the Base PPO Plan (70/30). Blue Cross NC is the Plan’s current TPA for the Base PPO Plan (70/30).
You will need to take action during Open Enrollment if you want to be enrolled in a different plan option or if you need to make any changes regarding your dependents. If you would like to change plans, you may do so during Open Enrollment, Sept 30 – Oct 25, 2024. During Open Enrollment, you can make a plan change by calling the State Health Plan’s Eligibility & Enrollment Support Center at 855-859-0966 (TTY: 711).
These webinars will provide an overview of your 2025 benefits and will include presentations from State Health Plan staff, Aetna Representatives as well as Humana. The content shared during these webinars is the same information that is shared during the in-person Open Enrollment meetings held across the state.
